Schmincke Pastel Primer is a very receptive and versatile primer for pastel work. It dries to a slightly rough surface. Once dry it is ideal not only for pastels but also for watercolour, acrylic and gouache.
Schmincke Pastel Primer can be used on all fat-free materials such as wood, metal, canvas, heavier weight papers etc., and can be coloured with acrylic paints. Schmincke Pastel Primer is light resistant, and is available in 500ml bottles.
